Bradford won by 947 in Kitchener South-Hespeler
Elections Canada has released a final vote count for the riding of Kitchener South-Hespeler. New Liberal MP Valerie Bradford won with 18,596 votes (37.5 per cent), 947 votes ahead of runner-up Conservative Tyler Calver, with 17,649 votes (35.5 per cent).
Rounding out the results were: the NDP’s Suresh Arangath with 8,079 votes, the People’s Party of Canada’s Melissa Baumgaertner with 3,351 votes, the Green party’s Gabe Rose with 1,710 votes, independent candidate C. Andrea Morrison with 119 votes, the Rhinoceros Party’s Stephen Davis with 93 votes, and the Marxist-Leninists’ Elaine Baetz with 57 votes.
