NORMAND, Dorothy Marie

1929 - 2021

Passed away peacefully, at Pinehaven Nursing Home, of natural causes, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in her 92nd year.

Dorothy enjoyed working in Food Services for the University of Waterloo for many years. After her retirement in 1994, she spent her time lovingly caring for her family and travelling with her one and only soulmate. Beloved wife of the late Clarence John Normand (March 6, 2002).

Loving mother of Mary Downie (Brad Downie) and the late Michael Normand (March 15, 2019) survived by his loving wife Georgia Normand. Dear sister of the late Walter Carter.

Proud grandma of Dawnalee, Dayna, Brandon and Matthew. She will be forever in our hearts including all her greatgrandchildren and greatgreat-grandchildren.

At the family's request there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Cremation will take place. A private interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Pinehaven Nursing Home. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Pinehaven for caring for my Mom with sincere love and respect. It is appreciated beyond words!
