Is it time for pedestrians to move into cycling lanes?

Bravo to letter writer Dorothy McGeagh, who so succinctly called out our municipalities’ shocking lack of accountability.

Once again, they have caved in to the very vocal minority at the expense of the majority.

Clearing the sidewalks of snow should be done as soon as possible for pedestrians of every age and mobility.

I fear the only answer is to start walking, and wheeling, in the perpetually clear bike lanes.

Cyclists have run us off sidewalks for years as it is — so what’s the difference? Shirley Shearer Drumbo
