Townhouse fire damages four units

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is investigating after a townhouse fire Friday night displaced three families from Donnenwerth Drive in the south end of the city. The fire started about 8 p.m. Friday and attracted about 200 onlookers who watched 33 firefighters battle the flames. The units at 79 and 81 sustained the most damage as flames tore through third-floor attics and roofs. Two other units were damaged as well. No one was injured.
