Protecting heritage is not the most important thing
Re: Bill 23 a ‘gut punch’ to heritage — Nov. 23
I recently read that there are about 665 heritage properties in Cambridge. The heritage committee is against Bill 23, making it easier to repeal some of those. Let me ask: Would you rather have a dirty old house that’s falling apart and requires ridiculous amounts of money to maintain surrounded by homeless people, or have more efficient housing and fewer homeless people? The committee is a waste of money as well, but I digress.
