Drugs, firearms seized in search

A 39-year-old Kitchener man faces a long list of charges after police searched a residence on Thursday. Police seized methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, two firearms, drug trafficking paraphernalia, brass knuckles, gold and cash, with a total estimated value of $300,000, Ontario Provincial Police said. The items were found in a search of a residence on Fernwood Place, near Westmount Golf & Country Club in Kitchener. The man faces seven charges, including drug trafficking and unauthorized possession of a firearm. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-5709777.
