Cambridge soccer star injured in car crash
Local soccer star Rylee Foster is recovering after suffering injuries in a motor vehicle collision over the weekend. The Kitchener-born, Cambridge-raised goalkeeper plays for Liverpool FC Women. According to a statement from the soccer club published Friday, the 23-yearold was kept in hospital for observation following a traffic incident last weekend while visiting friends. The statement doesn’t say where the collision happened. She suffered some injuries and is due to return to Liverpool for further assessment and rehabilitation. The club advised it would provide further updates in due course.
